Join the network: “A New Beginning for Syria”
Many individuals and representatives of civil society, municipalities, academia and the private sector wish to support the new beginning in Syria. The BMZ therefore launched a platform called “A New Beginning for Syria”.
The platform “A New Beginning for Syria” platform is an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It is directed at non-governmental actors based in Germany who wish to contribute to Syria’s recovery and reconstruction. The platform serves as a forum for technical dialogue, exchange of experiences, and mutual networking. As of October 2025, it brings together more than 1,200 participants.
The platform’s activities include this information portal, a LinkedIn group, and a series of technical and networking events. Interested stakeholders, private initiatives or individuals are invited to register for our mailing list in order to receive information about upcoming events.
