ASA-Programme

Every year, Engagement Global enables 280 young people to participate in one of numerous projects in Germany and countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and South-East Europe for at least three months through an ASA scholarship. This promotes international exchange.

The African-German Youth Office (AGYO) helps young people from Germany and African countries who want to play an active role in sustainable development. Its Teams up! and Team works! programmes provide a platform for youth-group and young-expert exchanges.

The bengo advice centre supports German non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in all matters relating to development policy project work abroad. Its advisory services focus on the ‘private institutions’ funding system and related special initiatives of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

weltwärts

Every year, over 3,000 young people from Germany embark on a voluntary service abroad with weltwärts. At the same time, weltwärts also enables young people from the Global South to gain a change of perspective by spending time in Germany.
