User analysis

Our website uses Matomo to analyse user behaviour. This involves the use of cookies to collate information about user behaviour on our website, including the access computer's IP address stored in abbreviated form. The information is transmitted to a server where it is anonymised and saved for user analysis purposes.

Current technological standards no longer permit assignment to the access computer or connection after anonymisation. Information generated by the cookie is only transmitted to an internally operated server. It is not disclosed to third parties. The data is processed pursuant to Article 6, section 1. (f) of the EU GDPR with the legitimate interest of user analysis for improvement of the website. You have the right to object to user data being processed for the purpose of analysing user behaviour.

The following link gives users the option of disabling the collation of user data. Information on this objection: a cookie is placed on the end device to prevent the collation of user data when visiting this site. This cookie has to be stored on the end device being used for the objection to take effect. The cookie is stored in the relevant browser (internet programme). Where several browsers are used on an end device (e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox), the cookie has to be stored in each browser. Please additionally note that deleting all cookies also deletes the objection cookie – this will subsequently need to be reinstalled.

Disclosure of data to third parties
