I moved to Germany in 2011 for both private and professional reasons. I settled down in Berlin where I studied a Master´s degree in Intercultural Conflict Management. As part of my Master’s programme, I returned to Colombia to conduct research for my thesis, and ever since I have the ambition to incorporate both countries into my professional life.
After my studies, I applied for the diaspora expert funding offer and undertook a short-term assignment in Colombia. Since then, I have developed various projects that brought solar energy to rural areas in Colombia. I have also organised trainings on this topic and helped develop Energy Community Governance models for several communities.
