Fair for Diaspora Entrepreneurs in Hanoi
On 2nd November, a vibrant fair for young start-ups took place in Hanoi. Eight innovative companies from various sectors showcased their products to a wide audience. These start-ups share one goal: to contribute to Viet Nam's development in a sustainable way.
The entrepreneurs were selected as part of a pilot business acceleration offer by the GIZ Programme “Shaping development-oriented migration” (MEG) in Viet Nam. The MEG assists members of the diaspora in refining their business ideas and in launching successful companies in their countries of origin.
The journey doesn't stop here. In the coming months, GIZ will continue to support these start-ups, providing them with experienced coaches to tackle critical issues such as financing and market access. This ongoing support aims to ensure these promising enterprises can scale their operations and make a significant impact on Viet Nam's development landscape.
