Our Services

German development cooperation is committed to the United Nations' 2030 Agenda. With the name Diaspora2030, we aim to highlight the significant contributions that the diaspora can make towards achieving these goals. We support developmentally engaged individuals and organizations from the diaspora in Germany, helping them to utilize their skills and knowledge effectively.

Diaspora Experts

Since 2016, we have supported more than 1,000 Diaspora Experts and their global short-term assignments. You will find a few of their stories here.

Diaspora Organisations

Since 2011, we have advised numerous diaspora organisations on how to transform their ideas into impactful projects and apply for public funding.

Diaspora Entrepreneurs

Since 2010 we have advised more than 900 members of the diaspora who would like to start a business in their country of origin. We have assisted and accompanied more than 200 people to turn their business idea into a vital business.

Diaspora Networks

We support the establishment of diaspora networks within Germany, and between Germany and select partner countries. We also organise a wide range of diaspora events across different levels.
