Returning to Morocco, with sought-after skills

While in Germany, Farid never gave any serious thought to becoming his own boss. In Rabat, however, he decided to set up his own business. ‘Everything is changing at the moment in Morocco,’ he says. ‘It’s exciting to get involved and be a part of things. Over here, I feel more able to make things happen.’ Farid’s software development and team management experience are in great demand in Morocco.

The business idea

Many children in Morocco struggle to cope with all the work they are expected to complete in a full day at school. There is too much content, lessons are tightly scheduled and teacher-centred, and there are few organised free-time activities. Farid set up his company to help change this. INOSER provides digital solutions for classroom teaching. By founding the start-up in Morocco, Farid is writing his own success story: making learning more enjoyable for children in school and, by doing so, helping to create a better education system in his home country.

Digital solutions for a modern education system

Morocco has a very young population. Farid has a strong personal commitment to helping children and young people in his country. He feels that one of the best places to do this is in schools. Thanks to INOSER children now learn physics, electronics, and programming through the use of specially developed robotics applications. INOSER also develops interactive whiteboard solutions that allow teachers to produce interactive teaching materials and use them in the classroom.
