Join us on 3 October 2024 for the Regional Migration Review Forum (RMRF) side event, Diaspora Engagement: Shaping Policies Together. This event will delve into the crucial role of Diaspora Engagement Policies and highlight the significant contributions of civil society and diaspora organisations in shaping these policies.

The event will showcase diverse perspectives from Ghana, Cameroon, and Ethiopia, along with insights from their diaspora communities. Government officials, civil society organisations, researchers, and international organisations present will provide a comprehensive view of the policy-making process.

The key topics of discussion will be:

  • The development process of Diaspora Engagement Policies
  • Strategies for reviewing and implementing these policies
  • The role of collaborative efforts between local and diaspora organisations in shaping the policy process
